Sponsor a Refugee

The refugee crisis is getting worse by the day and the huge number of Ukrainians seeking safety is reaching the millions of hopeless families and children loosing their homes and the safe environment.

Western European countries are doing their best to provide as much support as possible, and many organisations are trying to find suitable shelter and support for the refugees choosing to come here. The majority of Ukrainian refugees are, however, still in many countries bordering Ukraine (Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Moldova).

Many Ukrainians have traveled long distances and have suffered a lot in their journey to seek safety. We want to spare them the overwhelming extra journey to the west and help the hosting families take care of them directly. We also believe that the bordering countries have much less cultural differences with the Ukrainian people, and that can give them a feeling of a second home.

Many altruistic good people from bordering countries have taken the responsibility to shelter and take care of these poor displaced victims of war. In many cases, poor families are taking in Ukrainian mothers and children and giving them some of the family feeling they miss. With open arms and warm hearts these everyday heroes are doing their best to provide a shelter, food, basic needs, and most importantly empathy and a listening ear, since many Ukrainian children, mothers and elderly are dealing with huge traumatising experiences and great loss.

We believe that it is our duty to help these great souls in their quest to help the Ukrainian refugees. In many cases, the host families are themselves already struggling financially, but they don’t doubt one second to open their homes to help. We want to show them that we are grateful for their efforts and aware of their sacrifices. With a small monthly donation,  we can help these families provide the necessary needs for the Ukrainian refugees to live in a real home, with real families that truly care.

Moldova is one great example of this great spirit. It is the poorest country in Europe and the Moldovan people have shown to the world that being poor isn’t an excuse to look the other way. Until now, they have welcomed the largest number of refugees relative to their population, and they continue to do so.

In cooperation with local dedicated official organisations in Moldova, we want to make sure that we get your donations directly to the right families. Our philosophy is based on helping people to help themselves and we guarantee that every cent donated will fully go to sponsor the Ukrainian mothers, children and elderly.
